Its 400 pages cover his formative years in France and India; his adventure with aviation beginning with pioneering civil aviation in India to the success of Air India International; his 60 years as captain of industry and finally vignettes of his life as a human being, philanthropist, citizen.
The book has also come out as an audio book which reduces 400 pages with a CD of 70 minutes with Boman Irani being the voice of J.R.D.Tata and Shernaz Patel as the narrator. It is published by Karadi Tales, Chennai.
